Maybe we are going about it the wrong; Please hear me out on this ok. O F A has done a great job with the President but isn't quite enough;maybe the Organization need to get a bit bigger. Maybe it's time do a little scouting out there in mid America; Try to find other candidates that O F A can back;and get into congress. you have the capacity to tell people about a candidate. and you have means to deliver his or her message to the people of his or her state. I'm not saying Jump ship on the Democratic party.But I'm saying that we need new blood in Washington DC. to make the changes that will make a difference in the way our buarocisy works.we have the capacity to make things work;but not enough people in congress to do the job that needs to be done. that might mean backing Democrats and independent and maybe even a few republican that have shared values with us. and want a Strong healthy country that solves it's problems in stead of the sweeping things under the rug like they seem to do now. give it a little thought. i might be out of line suggesting this but i have the space to do it so i thought i would mention it to you all.

In just the last 3 days, OFA volunteers like you have pledged an incredible 4,000,000 (and counting!) hours to support members of Congress and candidates who fight for real health reform.

We can prove to Congress that health reform is good policy and good politics, but we need to go as big as possible. So today we're setting a new goal: 5 million hours pledged.

If we hit it, the country will know. We'll be running an ad with the final tally in USA Today, the nation's largest newspaper. And to make sure your voice is heard where it matters most, we'll run radio ads in critical states and districts, featuring local voters announcing the pledge total from their area.

Your hours will make a huge difference wherever you live, and there's many different ways to get involved. Can you help us hit 5 million hours by pledging today?

I was looking up health care Insurance on the Internet; and i found that there are a lot of them out there including state farm. and Etna. But here is the kicker on this would they allow them self's to be put into a hat and allow you to pick from companies for the best price on health care insurance; and allow for preexisting conditions? or would the charge you more to cover the preexisting problems that you have. And not denie your claim if you went to the hospital; if you remember Etna moved out of Texas for and example. would they be willing to sell health care policies to people in Texas at all? at a reasonable rate;remember that Insurance companies are out to make a profit. just like every other company in the world. or would congress pass a law that would comp-ell them to sell policies in states that there not in at present . and would they cover any claims; Even if it is a preexisting condition. these are things that would have to be answered; before we could know if it's a good deal for the public . ceaout emtour let the buyer beware.
