defenders of wild life

Don't get me wrong i like face book ; but the page i saw yesterday was so bad that i going to write about it; it showed 2 spanish dudes butchering Dogs. if this wasn't a horror movie it defenently would be consitered a WTF. I know face book has a good reputation as and a family and friend meeting place and i have a column up there my self . puting pictures of a puppy being stabbed or cut to pieces is way over the top Please Face book take that page down and report them to the Police. i hate to write a column about you my usual beat is polatics but when i see some this bad i have to comment on it . if there dangeroius to aminals they could be dangerious to children as well

my column

Common sense it define who we are; and what we are as a people.most mistakes are caused by not using the common sense god gave us. with people saying thing like death panels and camps in the UNITED States the fitst thing that comes out of your mouth should be bull shit or prove it . but the fearful take the word of some selling some thing. ask your self are they telling the truth and if not are they the kind of people that i would want to vote into office? and if they lie while campaigning for office what will they do in office; can I believe them and trust there judgement on things that effect my life. think America the mid term vote is in less then 3 months of course i would prefer that you vote with the democrats or at least the progressives but please at least get out there and vote. and Mr president please sir keep our word to us and fix the problems with the laws that you have already pass stop asking for bi Parisian ship they don't want to help you. it's time to run a job bill down there throat and the fixes too we only have 3 month's sir we need to show the real people that we are for real not a gimmick; I support you sir but if you want to be a JFK please don't be afraid to confront the Republicans. Do as the rappers said keep it real ok

dedenders of wild life

There used to be a series call The F B I; WITH Eram zimmulas JR that showed how the Fbi worked and the hero's they are puting bank robbers; embezzers and other crimals in jail. i have a quick question for the F B I agent's in my adance out there wouldn't corperateism be concidered fraud or embezzelment to give millions of dollars to a CEO who's company lost money? to the point that the company fails; i'm not pretenting to know the law; i'm just a paper pusher. but it's seem weird to me that kind of conduct isn't illeagle in some way. to blint the investers out of a fair return 0n there money and closing down causing job loses.

my column

The Constitution of the United States; million of our countrymen have served over the last 232 years and died defending our rights as a Nation. we can't let tea baggers or Republicans do way with Our constitution and our rights. it would be a disgrace of all the men who fought and died from the revolutionary war to Afghanistan who are risking there life's as our proxy; ; if there are programs in the government that don't work then the logical thing to do is to cut them out but not things like the food and drug administration or other vital parts that protect us. and keep the government at the same size that it is now; and raise taxes and balance the budge like they did back when bill Clinton was President that's the conservative way of doing it. and hope that we don't elect another buccaneer that will take us back into a war; costing us billions of dollars and the blood of our children with our a just reason for doing it .not every one is a businessman but I'm sure some are that have great idea that would work well if they had venture capital to work with. Here and idea using the same technology they use on glasses of car windows when the sun is out the windows turn a shade of brown then the sun glow down it's clear; here and idea for you cutting corporate welfare bet that would save us billions right there. or paying a farmer for not planting a crop on there property bet there a lot more thing we could do. But you know the republican would never touch cooperate welfare you corrupt thieves.

Is our nation really right-of-center? It's a quick throwaway-line parroted by Republican talking heads. According to Republicans, they speak for us - they are the voice of the "people" – and all Americans agree with the Right.

Just to pick one: if we actually were a right-of-center nation, Social Security would not be the immortal sacred cow it is now. Right-of-center elected officials would have long ago done away with this safety net. A right-of-center nation would have never embraced the extremely liberal notion of public retirement insurance for its citizens. And government-funded health care for seniors like Medicare?! That’s not “free market” – that’s not “freedom.”

If we were a right-of-center nation, you could win an election by saying you planned to eliminate Medicare and Social Security. After all, this would be an effortless way of leaving the unprecedentedly bloated defense budget intact while still cutting big “gubment.” Instead such a proposal is grounds for getting you burned in effigy. Even in 2005, President George W. Bush with his Republican majority in the infamously lazy, never-in-session 109th Congress couldn’t “privatize” Social Security. A right-of-center nation would have not only embraced the proposal, but also stood up and collectively swelled with pride that when they retire, they’ll be on their own! “The government will get off my back about only being able to afford to eat cat food!” Liberty!

This “right-of-center nation” sound bite is useful to Republicans because it is a means of getting their way while still seeming as if they’re negotiating. It’s actually very clever on their part. If you want to sell an item for $100, price it at $150 and let someone talk you down to the price you really want. The buyer feels good about his power of persuasion, and you feel good about controlling the final price. The sound bite frames the debate to move liberalism to the outskirts of the conversation. The left side becomes the outlier – the spectrum of the debate is then between the conservative far-right and the conservative right-of-center.

It’s reminiscent of the Henry Ford quip about the Model T, “You can have any color you want as long as it’s black.”

The reality: the majority of Americans are actually progressive whether or not they call themselves that. Poll after poll finds when Americans are asked how they feel about issues like the minimum wage, protecting the environment, gay rights and even gun control – the majority agrees with the Left. And no, “a majority” isn’t two-thirds or 60%. A majority still means more than half unless you’re in the U.S. Senate.

Progressives believe the future will be better. The whole idea of America is progressive. It’s a new country founded on idealism and unalienable rights. America was an idea so progressive that even now as the U.S. Constitution is the oldest currently in use it still seems radical. We believe in equality. We believe in government protections of individual rights. We believe in the right of due process. We believe the government is best run by and for the people. We are not and have never been a conservative country.

According to Forbes, we have more millionaires than any other country in the world, and progress is about prosperity. Listen to Republicans and they’ll try to sell you on business being only right-wing. Innovation isn’t partisan. Our country’s biggest export is the union-packed liberal staple of Hollywood entertainment. Job-creating venture capitalists like Warren Buffett are also progressive. Venture capitalism – investing to improve the world through new ideas – is the definition of progressive. Ditto Silicon Valley. The richest man in the world, Bill Gates, is nowhere near conservative. Saying liberals are anti-business is like saying conservatives are anti-border control.

Are we a right-center nation? No. First off, it’s a false premise. We have to be a center-center nation. The consensus is the center. And the center voted for Democratic majorities in the House, Senate and White House.

So when a minority of 40 senators hold up unemployment insurance because mid-January of last year they inexplicably became worried about spending are the same 40 who tout continuing tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans - it has nothing to do with “center right.”

It’s center not right.
