My column.
Here are a few things i would like to see happen; one is for parents to read to there kids; I know times are tough and at least for most going hungry is a real danger these days and times. I hope my little offering help you out ; I can’t give you ideas daily but when i do i hope it come in handy to you . It wasn’t the easy way but then your hungry or your family is about to every little bit counts have been there my self on occasion. I took a job as a temporary because i was between jobs had a wife and two kids.so i applied at a temporary service. they called me up and sent be to a Ware house where me and 4 others were to unload 2 trucks; gnocchi i think is was it was a were house for Neiman Marcus we started to unload it but the other temps didn’t like moving up as we got farther into the truck; i told them if you can’t bring the mountain to Mohammad then u must bring Mohammad to the mountain right; well they said it would take 8 hour we got it done in 2; the lady that runs the service call me into the office and told me they payed me for 4 hours . But she also said that I needed a full time job . so i applied at the Dallas Morning News; At first it was 2 days a week Friday night; and Saturday day you came in at 7 pm and depend on whether you stayed for the bull dog run or now you got off by 4 am and you had to be by at 9 am . for the box sale run . and the Sunday paper at first it was hard you didn’t get much sleep and the work was hard but got though it. and they added more days and every sift extra i could get i took i knew i had a family at home depending on me to keep them fed. after 2 years they brought me into the office and asked me to become full time. Most of the time i spend on the truck loading but i spend time on heads feeding paper into the machine too i was with a friend in the trucks he would load one and i would load the next truck. you build up speed till they drop them on you fast then you get in a rhythm as it speeds up. 1 was there for 18 years so i know whats it’s like to work for a living.
