Dear Arnold,

We know voters in the 6th District want to send a message to Washington this year, but it's not the message Michele Bachmann wants to send - particularly when it comes to Social Security. And that's the message of our newest TV ad.

Be among the first to see it here, and donate what you can to keep it on the air today:

In 2005, Bachmann proposed privatizing Social Security, which would have allowed her campaign donors on Wall Street to gamble our retirement away. This year, she called the system a "tremendous fraud" and now thinks that we should end it altogether by "weaning" people off.

We've been spreading the word about Bachmann's backwards priorities when it comes to Social Security, and voters are listening. In fact, recent polls show us with an edge among older voters - and that's critical because they're the most likely to vote in the upcoming midterm election. They know Michele Bachmann is not on their side.

Help us continue our momentum among this key voting bloc with a contribution today!

Yesterday, Tarryl held three town hall meetings with seniors throughout the district, and received the official endorsement of the National Committee to Protect Social Security and Medicare. Retirees - and those of us who hope to retire someday - know that Tarryl will always be on our side.

We need to get our message out, but it's not cheap. Here's the good news, though: If you and 10 friends contribute $55 today, you'll buy another slot for our ad and we'll keep holding Bachmann accountable.

Don't have $55? Don't worry. Any donation you make today will keep us continue our momentum and keep gaining ground with seniors and voters across the 6th District.

Thanks for your support. 25 days to go!

Sincerely,

Carrie Lucking
Communications Director
Tarryl Clark for Congress

P.S. 281 days have passed by in 2010, and Bachmann has still spent only a handful of hours in her district meeting with her constituents. It's up to us to spread the word about her real record. Donate today and we'll do exactly that!
