On Yahoo they have a stories about schools in KC; Shutting down for lack of money this problem bothers me; there is one fact that can't be denied that schools are there to teach kids. this had been a fact for more then a century;an it must continue at all cost. You hear about high school coaches making a salary of 100 thousand and up dollars a year and the superintends making 500k a year if you have 10 or more middle to high schools in a district that that 1million dollars in lost revenue that need to be made up some how some where; then you have stadiums so they can play base all and foot ball in. and they don't come cheap either with maintenance and grounds keepers; the point that I'm trying to make is yes we need the schools. but we need to have them teach the children and have the money to update any books or technique's that will help our children to be a part of the 21 century; And beyond there are only 3 ways to do that; 1 Is to cut costs on sports programs and invest that money in there leaning; 2 Is to raise taxes witch in Texas is very unpopular people don't like there taxes raised. 3 Would be to raise the cost of tickets to base ball and foot ball games. Our children come first should be on the lips of every parent; I know you work hard Out there and i know when you come home your tired; but do try to take a little time to help them with there home work and if they don't have home work make sure you ask why. teachers passing out assignments is only part of your job the other part is helping children understand what there doing with out that there lost too; unless we teach our children they won't have a future unless it is behind bars. This is our job Parents and Teachers and we better do it or what we know of the united states is DOOMED.

THANKS

Arnold
